Solidtec Solutions Customer wins Internet Correspondent Contest for SolidWorks World 2011

Michael Lord, a CAD designer from Trakka (www.trakka.com.au) won the opportunity to become the Internet Correspondent for SolidWorks World 2011. For SolidWorks, it was his self-professed knowledge of US television from the 60’s and his promise to be an equal-opportunity offender that won him the contest.  

Trakka Pty Ltd, based in Sydney, designs, develops and implements new products to the motorhome and special purpose vehicle market. As a Design Engineer for Trakka, Michael works on designs for special vehicles such as motorhomes, promotional vehicles, ambulances, mobile offices, wagering vehicles, and everything in between.

Michael admits that “I do get a little more proud when the vehicle is a mobile medical clinic, which you know is going to provide quality health service and benefits to children in remote areas”.

Trakka is a customer of Solidtec Solutions in Sydney, and have been thus since 2009. Solidtec provides Trakka with SolidWorks software and local support services that enable them to produce quality designs for their special vehicles.
